Casper and Connie the Madagascan Hissers

  • Life span: 2 - 5 years
  • Size: 5 - 7 cm
  • Diet: Mostly plants and fruit
  • Habitat: Leaf litter on forest floor
  • Found: Madagascar

 

Cathy the Cuban Burrower

 

  • Latin name: Byrsotria fumigata
  • Life span: 1 - 2 years
  • Size: 4 - 5 cm
  • Diet: Mostly plants
  • Habitat: Woodland under logs
  • Found: Usually in Cuba but also in parts of the West Indies and Central America
