There are three types of snake in the show at the moment and one more is in training and will join me very soon.
Binky and Morris the Royal Pythons
Binky and Morris are the snakes I normally take to shows. They are both young Royal Pythons and still quite small. They are quite difficult to tell apart as their markings are quite similar. In this photo Binky is the one sticking her tongue out!
Royal pythons are quite calm snakes and these two aren't particularly energetic.
Royal pythons are also know as Ball pythons, Binky and Morris like nothing better than to curl up together in a big ball.
Nougat and Sherbet the Corn Snakes
Nougat and Sherbet come with me on the show when Binky and Morris are having a rest.
Nougat has grey markings and is a little bigger than Sherbet, who has orange markings.
The Corn snakes are a lot more wriggly than the Royal pythons and they are very nosey.
Wilton the Carpet Python
At nearly 2 metres long, Wilton is the largest snake in my collection and also the newest addition to the family.
He was rescued by a gentleman in Newbiggin after being found in a river. He was very poorly when he was found but after a lot of care and veterinary treatment he recovered well and now comes out occasionally to shows.
Wilton loves to explore, in the picture on the left you can see him climbing to the top of my dad's head to have a good look around.
Squirly the King Snake
Squirly is the youngest of my snakes.
She is not big enough to come to shows yet and needs a bit more attention to get her used to being held.
She is usually quite a slow snake but moves very quickly when startled.
In a couple of years she will make a wonderful addition to the show.
